Hey, if you’re new here, welcome to the Mum blog!
I’m Molly, a Mum of a cheeky toddler and a smiley baby, soon to also be a toddler (heaven help my sanity!)
I’m here to help Mothers feel heard and bring you posts to uplift, inspire and empower.
On the blog, you’ll find I talk about mindset, productivity, a realistic view on motherhood and I like to share with you all the things I think are going to help you.
In ‘real-life’ I’m a maths teacher in the UK, dog-person, bookworm, author of Dear Toddler and a bit of an introvert who usually has a lot to say.
I wanted to start a Mum blog when I’d just had my first little one but I let life totally get in the way. Until I learned how to make time for the stuff that mattered to me. After reading books, blog posts and listening to podcasts I came to one realisation:
I’m the only one who gets to choose how to spend my hours.
Since deciding this, I started my Etsy shop, launched my blog and started journaling almost every day.
Organisation never came naturally to me. I’m so easily distracted! So I’ve had to do a lot of learning over the years as a teacher. Now as a Mum it’s been more important than ever.
Follow our journey as a family of four… (6, you can count dogs in that right?) in this crazy journey called Motherhood. I’ll share with you what I’ve learned, I’d love to hear back from you too and we’ll become good friends.

If you wanted to know a bit more about me as a human here you go:
- Fave childhood film: Hunchback of Notre Dame, but I’m also a teensy bit obsessed with all things Harry Potter.
- Pets: 2 Spaniels & 4 chickens
- I love to draw
- Star sign: Double Pisces with an Aquarius Moon (#emotional)
- I used to work in a chip shop, which is where I met my husband who’d come in for cod and chips every Friday
- I’d rather talk to one person at a time than a group
- I teach Maths to 11-18 year olds. Whilst it can be stressful, working with children is hilarious and fulfilling
