These Christmas gift ideas for a pregnant Mum will show her you care without breaking the bank!
Looking for gift inspiration for a pregnant Mum this Christmas? Show that you’re thinking of her with these little gifts and still save your pennies.
Chances are if you’re reading this, you’ve either been pregnant or know someone close who’s having/ had babies. So you don’t need me to tell you: pregnancy ain’t a walk in the park. 🥺
With prices hiking up (apparently by the hour!) this year I’ve kept the suggestions under £30. Actually, most of the gifts are under £20! After all, big bucks doesn’t equal better.

Pregnancy Pillow
Frankly, I don’t think I’ll ever give up this pillow. Not only did I use it while sleeping when pregnant, I now use it to prop myself up in bed while breastfeeding. I even use it to prop Owen up when he’s just hanging around in our bed. Jessica will steal it at any opportunity she gets.
Her partner may not thank you though… the pillow, along with the bump, takes up all the space.
Myrtle & Maude Queasy Days Tea
If the pregnant Mum is feeling a little green around the gills, maybe the gift for her this Christmas could be some Queasy Days Tea. I drank this every morning in the first trimester and a little way into the 2nd during my last pregnancy. It was a good substitute for my normal tea as it’s caffeine free and it definitely took the edge off the morning sickness.
Myrtle & Maude also have teas for labour and for milk supply amongst other great products for new Mums.
Bio Oil for Stretch Marks
I used Bio Oil religiously for my first pregnancy and had barely a stretch mark. Second pregnancy I kept forgetting to use it and now my tummy has a beautiful array of tiger stripes.
I don’t mind my stretch marks nearly as much as I thought I would, but the Bio Oil certainly helped my tummy skin feel better and smoother since I had Owen.
Different women have different feelings toward their (potential) stretch marks, but regardless, she’ll see you really care with this gift.
Bamboo Nursing Pads
A perfect Christmas gift for a pregnant Mum who’s planning to breastfeed. In those early days when her milk supply is establishing, leaky boobs can be a serious problem. Disposable breast pads are convenient but, in my experience, not comfortable. Not to mention the plastic waste.
Show an eco-friendly Mama to be how much you care with washable breast pads.
Nipple Balm
If you know the Mum to be is planning on breastfeeding her baby, gift her some Lanolin nipple cream.
Those early days (weeks) of breastfeeding can be a bit of a rollercoaster. With baby learning to latch and Mum learning how to feed comfortably it’s common for nipples to get sore and cracked. Ouch!
The nipple cream is odourless and tasteless so doesn’t affect baby, but will give Mum much needed relief between feedings.
Foot Mask
What is it about being pregnant that makes your feet sore? This Christmas, try gifting these foot masks.
Especially for a pregnant Mum who never sits still or takes time to herself. She’ll feel pampered and with these moisturising foot socks she’ll have to put her feet up!
Pillow Mist
There are plenty of reasons why a pregnant Mum might have trouble sleeping. From anxiety and backache to restless legs and carpal tunnel. Not to mention getting up for a wee a few times a night or pre-pregnancy she was a tummy sleeper!
A unique Christmas gift could be a gentle smelling pillow mist. I’ll recommend this pillow spray for two reasons. The first is to help her relax and sleep at night. The second is to take with her to hospital or wherever she decides to birth her baby and spray the room. This will help her feel more relaxed in labour.
Baby Milestone Book
A baby milestone book is a super sweet Christmas gift for a pregnant Mum to record this most exciting time.
Bump to Birthday is a diary for the Mum’s pregnancy and through baby’s first year. I used this during my pregnancy with Jessica, before I started journaling every day anyway. I loved the little prompts and bit of info they include with each week of the pregnancy that passes.
Toddler Milestone Book
Most milestone books are for babies only, with the last pages for their 1st birthday. But so many milestones are yet to come! Toddlerhood is awesome and should be celebrated just as much as baby development.
Dear Toddler is a weekly journal from their little one’s 1st to their 4th birthday. With weekly pages to record their favourites, adventures, new skills and even a photo or doodle. They’ll be able to capture all the big ones like taking steps, talking, potty training, trying new foods, first holidays, starting day care and much more.
Nosefrida Nasal Aspirator
A.K.A. a snot sucker. Yup, just as gross as you’d expect but necessary!
There’s nothing worse than when your little ones get sick.
When babies are really small, they haven’t learned to breathe through their mouths yet, so when they get snotty, its pretty rubbish for everyone involved.
The NoseFrida is easily the best snot sucker I’ve used. Yes, you have to suck through the little tube thing, but you aren’t anywhere near the snot… and there’s filters to stop that happening anyway.
The Mum-to-be might be a little grossed out initially at your Christmas gift but trust me, she will thank you later.
Baby Nail File
A Christmas Gift that the pregnant Mum probably hasn’t thought of yet but she will use over and over again.
This electric baby nail file gave me peace of mind when cutting my little one’s nails.
Teeny tiny baby nails are quite hard to cut with nail clippers. Newborn nails can be so scratchy but also really flimsy so I was terrified of cutting their little fingers by accident.
Whatever Christmas gift you get for a pregnant Mum, the best gift is your time
If you really can’t make up your mind, all she really needs is a good friend like you to listen to her without judgement.
