I’ll ask you questions that you haven’t considered before. Sometimes you’ll hate the questions, because it’ll wake you up and make you realise you’ve been in a daze, autopiloting your way through your precious hours, days, weeks, months… I promise, it’s out of love.

It wasn’t always like this…
Don’t you just love it when a plan comes together?
But how often does that happen?
Do you even have a plan?
I can tell you, for the longest time, I did not. I was winging it day by day, even hour by hour sometimes. On the surface, I seemingly had it together but under the surface I was flailing. Not to mention the creativity and dreams I’d squashed under the get-through-another-day attitude I’d adopted.
I spent all day at work fighting fires, missing deadlines, dragging my sorry backside through the day.
At home I struggled to keep on top of laundry, the house was a cluttered mess, I was cooking my kids chicken nuggets for dinner… again…
Worst of all I didn’t realise this was all in my control.
I thought this was just it. That “I’m not organised”, “I’ll never get ahead”, and that “this is what I signed up for”.
In a desperate bid for freedom, I fell down a rabbit hole of productivity systems, mindset mantras and sort-your-life-out gurus.
I read books and blogs, devoured hours of audiobooks, podcasts and YouTube videos, and journaled endlessly about my fears, goals, failures and successes.
As I’ve tried out methods and systems, one thing throughout this journey kept flashing up again and again for me.

Being a working Mum has forced me to quit my procrastination and actually plan my life.
So when I say quit procrastination, I’m still working on that bit. Ever met anyone who’s immune to procrastinating? Nope, me neither.
Most importantly, we need systems so we don’t get stressed out while doing all the things.
But that’s why I’m here. To empower, inspire and motivate you, through this blog, to feel like you can do all the things and not feel overwhelmed by it all.
Let’s plan to do it, give it our best shot, give ourselves grace if we don’t do it all, and be thankful to ourselves for trying. ♥️
